got what you deservedOf course you did the right thing by telling him. You need to inform your partners. As to who gave who what, there is no way to tell unless everybody gets tested...it does sound like you were having a primary outbreak but different people can carry this stuff for years and not have any symptoms.

I will say that if you are going to have an affair (and not just you) people still need to be protected. If you are having sex, you are at risk and your dude should have known that too. Unfortunately, herpes doesn't care if you use condoms...abstinence and faithfulness are the best protection.

Edit: A. It's not your fault. It takes two (or more apparently) to tango. B. It's not the end of the world although it feels like it is in the beginning. C. Why are you feeling so guilty? YOU got it from somewhere/somebody too. D. If any of these people gave a shit about themselves or their partners, they wouldn't be sleeping around. Sorry--but I feel bad that you feel so bad. You are not the only one who did this--you're just the responsible one who told. OH, and they don't DO herpes tests when they "test you for everything." So those people don't know if they have it until they get tested or not.You have herpes....SO WHAT????

I've had it over 20 years from my 1st husband (since I was 16yo!) and suicide never crossed my mind!

I'm way too in love with myself to allow an occasional contagious ZIT to make me hate myself...after the 1st large outbreak - all it'll be is an occasional ZIT!
Brace yourself, tell your husband the truth and give him time to get over it....if he loves you...he'll be fine.

And BTW...don't think you're the 1st affair that liar with the virgin wife ever had...if you believe him, you're not thinking straight.
A man can easily think herpes is just a zit on his scrotum (which BTW a condom does NOT cover) because they don't groom & take care of their downstairs as often as we do... so it could've been either of them & they don't know it. Not everybody has this 1st large initial outbreak you're seeing...some people have all small outbreaks! So whomever gave it to you - doesn't know they did it..
(unless that liar with the virgin wife is just continuing to lie...I don't believe anything he says!)
