The more consistently you take the medication, the less outbreaks you should have. You should use protection with every encounter as you don't have to have an outbreak to transmit the disease.I was diagnosed 2 octobers ago and i thought my world was over!!! No more boyfriends for me i thought!! Luckly i found someone and have been with him for 2 years now and he knows everything and he doesnt care!! We just carefull!!
Obviously nothing is as bad as the 1st outbreak but i have only had 1 outbreak since and i dont have any med for it!! I just let it do its course!!! I know excatly how you are feeling bout not wanting another partner... i cudnt stand men when it happened to me...but you'll get over that and rise above it!! I AM writing this comment with tears of Joy. I have been suffering from (GENITAL HERPES VIRUS) disease for the past 4 years and had constant pain and inching, especially in my private part.
