Shingles are small blisters on a red base and follow along a nerve which means that they can only be on one side of your body. They can follow any nerve but a common site is the nerve along your abdomen. It is not anything to be worried about although you should be treated for the condition with a pill called Valtrex or Zovirax. A person normally will get shingles only once in a lifetime but it is not uncommon for a person to get it more often if they have immune problems, It is NOT an std and you shouldn't be worried about it, nobody knows the reason why this virus starts up in any individual but some people say that a heavy stress load brings it out.
