Rash from a pad? Or Herpes??

i am on my period too, and I also have tenderness. I think it is from the excess moisture from body and from sweating. I usually put diaper rash ointment or vaseline on and it goes away. If it gets too bad i switch to tampons for awhile.You might want to go to the doctor if their is any pain in the area like a feeling of a needle. herpes will itch and be a little painful they often feel like you are getting stuck real quick with a needleRight after I had my son and was wearing pads constantly, i got a really bad irritation down there. I used some of my son's A+D ointment and it went away...good luck
