If the herpes virus is on an object how long would it take to die?

Herpes is very sensitive, non-airborne, and highly unlikely to spread on a surface. It's dead on the surface within moments. Maybe if you shared lips gloss applicators at the same time in the bathroom, for example.

Herpes travels up and down the spinal column. when a person is stress out is more likely when they will have a breakout. It is also what causes cold sores, genital herpes, and herpes zoster( a painful outbreak of the skin like a rash, but more painful). There are a few different kinds of herpes, they are categorized differently medically. There is a medication though that has been known to suppress a breakout. Have your friend ask her doctor for it, especially if it is painful for her.
