a lot written about your question here: http://health.recclick.com/?q=tetracyclineno, you just have to be patient, and there are mannny different types of herpes, such as cold sores being the most common.
so just stick it out and be a little more patient.Herpes is a viral infection and it does sound strange that a doctor would give you a medication for an infected pimple.
I would see another doctor for a second opinion. I could understand it's use for a cold sore.
