I take valtex and pills to stop shedding can i till pass herpes ?
Valtrex will greatly reduce your chances shedding (if you take it regularly) you will only have a very small chance of shedding herpes when you take the meds.
If you take the pills regularly you will reduce your chances of passing herpes, but the risk of spreading it is always there. Your best bet is to use Valtrex and condoms while you don't have an out break. Or find a partner that is willing to be with you even though you have herpes.
