why is it that herpes tests are not made part of a standard std test?
Normally, herpes is identified by the lesions present. No lesions, nothing to test for the disease.I honestly think a blood test should be part of a standard STD test. Especially when about 70% of people are asymptomatic! I guess you just have to ask. I do agree that is would help decrease the spreading of herpes.

It took almost one year for my first real outbreak but it was the hardest thing in the world to get along with. I felt so unwanted and dirty.
