I think my herpes medicine is not working anymore!?

I would definately recommend taking the lysine. It's definately good at helping your body fight viral infections. However, it would also be wise to see your doctor. There are other medications available and one of them may be more effective for you.Lysine will help. You could be building up a immunity to your medicine seeing that you had herpes now for 5 years. The longer you have herpes the more outbreaks you will get, also genital scaring will happen and PID. In time you could also get genital cancer. With this you are likely have to undergo cosmetic surgery to hide the scaring.
JEDask your . dr. to change it to valtrex .
