I think if you have a cold sore then you need to buy a new toothbrush just to be on the safe side. Soaking your tooth brush in hydrogen peroxide and isopropyl alcohol wont kill the virusYou heard some mis-information. Disinfecting your toothbrush will not prevent future outbreaks. The virus has taken up residency in your body. Any future outbreaks would be caused by the virus already in your system, not by re-infection.LOL that isn't true. Actually the herpes virus dies very quickly once it's out side of the body. No need to soak it in bleach or alcohol. Just don't let any one use it directly you use it.
