I have a rash on my forehead between my eyes and on my nose. Is that a typical symptom of herpes simplex?
Herpes can present any ware, but not generally as a "rash" more of a sore, almost looking like a zit without a head on it. Reddening in the area is not uncommon, but the bumps are not a bunch of little ones like I think of when I hear you day "rash" the Virus produces single or clustering sores.
If you believe you have been infected/exposed seek medical attention.It's possible but that is not a common place to have herpes, it doesn't like to occur from wet places of the body. Oral herpes usually causes cold sores around the mouth or on the lips. It could be just acne or some thing irritated that area. Herpes can present itself as a rash but there may also be some painful itching, burning and or tingling symptoms under the skin of the rash.
If you need to know then have a doctor or dermatologist test the rash for herpes.
