Herpes or Burn/Cut/Infection?
I would at least call your Dr's office. I doubt that it's anything serious, but since it's been going on for a while and it's not getting any better, you may want to have it checked out. I'm not sure if your insurance company has a nurse's help line, but mine does. I've called about some stuff in the past and they have given me some good advice and you can do it anonymously.
