Can herpes simplex 1 be spread to the genitals?
I believe its contagious so Id imagine so.it can be spread but most likely it wont. I have had cold sores sincfe i was 5 years old and i am 23 and have never passed it that way. hsv1 tends to stick to its natural habitat which happens to be the mouth. 80 percent of the worlds population had hsv1.yes
