Just got my MMR results?
Positive reaction to having antibodies in your system, I would guess. Having antibodies means you have had or been exposed to the diseases and built up immunity.
Again, I'm just guessing.A "positive" or "immune" result means one of two things ...
You've either already had the disease or you have been inoculated for it before.
In other words, it means you do not need to get the vaccination because you're already immune (protected).Many of you received the MMR (Measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine as children which means that you are POSITIVE for the antibodies (IGG) that recognize these viruses and so protect you against these diseases. If you didn't get the vaccine as a child it means that you have had these viral infections and are now immune (protected).
