i need help with A herpes mystery!!?
Valtrex is used as a medication for other conditions besides herpes. For example, it is sometimes used to treat autoimmune diseases, such a chronic fatigue syndrome.A friend of mine takes it occassionally when she has a fever blister outbreak. She doesn't have herpes but fever blisters are a type of herpes. I've taken one of her pills (Valtrex) when I felt a cold sore/fever blister coming up on my lip & it made it go away before it appeared & got sore.Taking the medication does nothing to prevent you from getting herpes. The person who has herpes should be taking the medication and it's a good thing if they are taking it regularly. Taking Valtrex can help prevent herpes from being passed onto their partner. It's possible that some one in your home has herpes. Don't worry though, you're not going to contract it unless you plan on having sex with this person.

It was the first time my granddaughter came to me and confided about her battle with oral and genital herpes and her self destructive thoughts.

She don't have any symptoms again and has moved on happily and is now in a serious relationship with her fiancee
