don't put personal info on the web...if you have been vaccinated for chicken pox, you probably won't get them...and this is a question for your Dr...not strangers on YA.Even if you are vaccinated there still is a chance you might get it.Hello- your two vaccinations should be proof enough of immunity, but getting a titer is another way to assure immunity. You might want to take a look at your lab report to see what their cutoffs are, as they may vary slightly from lab to lab, but usually a cutoff of 0.90 is used for immunity for the IgG EIA. Anything above that is immune, so you should be good to go with at titer of 2.27.
P.S. It's not quite that bad with the vaccine- 9 out of 10 people do not get it! About 10-30% can get chickenpox after one dose (usually a very mild case), which is why the second dose was introduced; with two doses it is about 2% that still get it.
