Can you get Herpes from getting your eyebrows and lips waxed?

absolutly not!!!the only way u can get herpies is if the persons mouth or genitals(penis or vagina)touched that stick and then the stick touched your mouth or genitals...i'm learning about STD's in health class at the moment so i'd know...BUT!!! If that persons eye brow was bleeding and there was still blood on the stick and u used it and had a n open cuz on your eyebrow,there is a possibility of spreading HIV/AIDS...but i think you'll be fine:]Herpes is a virus that lives in the skin. There are different types of herpes. The virus can be brushed off the skin even when no active sores are present. I would ask for a new stick....and hope the heat of the wax killed any virus already present. Anything that is used multiple times and on many different people can carry a variety of nasty things. Jane, Nurse Techhello abigail very good question if your lips are already good the way they are just leave them the way the are and leave your eye brows the way they are and you wont have to worry about getting herpes because you dont need that disease
