What's the latest developments on a cure for herpes?
Not that I know of, sorry.there is no cure for herpes as of yet. but there are things like valtrex to help control outbreaks and creams to releive the pain. i would like to think that someone is working on a cure.Well the day they find a cure for herpes will be the same day they find a cure for Aids. It's the same type of virus that permanently attaches itself near your spine (chicken pox does also, that is why you can only get it once). So needless to say they are nowhere near a cure. If you are having outbreaks there are a lot of things that can help prevent them. Valtrex, OTC vitamin called Lysine, avoiding alcohol....but sadly there is no cure.

Happiness is all i see now I never thought that I will be cured from HERPES virus again.
