Can people just contract herpes out of nowhere?

SHe could have gotten it from a public toilet or not washing her hands before touching herself down there.There is genital herpes and then there are cold sores (which are also herpes).

Some people dont feel the symptoms and dont know that they have it, for others its painful and if investigated gets diagnosed.

If someone with a cold sore ever kissed one of you, or gave either of you oral sex, then you will contract gential herpes. You cant just pick it up out of nowhere.Obviously she was with someone other then you. Herpes is not an airborne virus. Either she kissed someone with a cold sore and has herpes or she was with someone.
