Valtrex or famvir......your less likely to spread it when you dont have an outbreak but sometimes it still possible to pass it with no sign or symptoms....and i dont think you should be showing your picturesThere is no medicine that can PREVENT the spreading of HSV-2, but Valtrex is FDA approved to help REDUCE the risk of spreading herpes. Valtrex is also approved to reduce the days of viral shedding.
Even with medication, the best way to help prevent spreading of herpes is to always use a condom and do not have sexual relations during an outbreak.
During clinical testing by Valtrex, it was shown that the use of the medication along with the use of condoms GREATLY lowered the risk of spreading HSV-2 to partners that did not have HSV-2 anitbodies. The drug will work with the virus being asymptomatic (present but without symptoms) as it is still possible to spread the disease without having symptoms or outbreaks. While it does LOWER your risk, the virus can still be spread from partner to partner with the use of condoms alone as a condom may not cover the entire area that is affected by the virus. Condoms have shown to provide a greater protection for women however over men.
There ARE other drugs besides Valtrex to help surpress and treat oubreaks, however Valtrex is the ONLY drug approved by the FDA to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus.CONDOMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• This is real take it serious, i am JOHNSON JUDITH i am from Ireland. ReplyDeleteI'm so happy now cos all of my wasted years are gone, does years of tears and sorrows. I was diagnosed of Genital Herpes, I never believed myself been affected with Herpes Until now.I heard so much about the virus.I was so ashamed of myself to show up publicly.
