How long does it take to get a herpes test results (blood and/or swab) back?
your doctor will call you if the test comes back positive.
if it comes back negative the doctor will NOT call and you will have to call them instead.
Results typically take a week depending on the doctor's office.
Good luck! hope ive helped =)The blood test results usually come back in 5-7 days. The culture (swab) can take up to 10 days because they have to wait for the culture to grow.
Most clinics are a no news is good news so call for your results in 10 days that way all of them will be in.
