herpes doesn't contain pus (the white matireal) you probably had some infected hair follicles, suggest you stop shaving down there, the hair is there for a purpose.if you shave the area, it is very likely you are getting ingrown hairs. Ingrown hairs can become swollen, red, painful, and fill with pus.It's probably a cyst or ingrown hair or something like that.

Having herpes/warts doesn't guarantee you'll get cancer, but it increases the risk. Plus herpes/warts are permanent, there is currently no permanent cure.
