any dummie can tell the difference between a cold sor and a pimple. A oimple will come to a head or have a yellow top on it. A cold sore will start as a small blisteryeah loads of people carry it put you can be a carrier and never get a cold sore supposedly. they come out when u are run downAmost 100% of people have been exposed to the herpes simples virus and carry it within their bodies.

I have never heard of a "cold sore" on a forehead.

Pimples have a single raised center. Cold sores have multiple vesicles. Pimples aren't contagious unless they are infected. Cold sores are contagious ..... and usually a sign of underlying illness coming on.
