Sure as long as you can keep the break outs under control. You may want to take some antiviral medication with you just in case.
By the way it's very rare to be born with herpes. If it's the type that causes cold sores, that is very common to have and it's often passed by being kissed by some one that has cold sores during child hood. The genital type is usually passed when you have some kind of sexual activity. If you think you have it you may want to get tested for it before you enlist.
