Can a crack on the lip that doesnt hurt and heals in 2days be herpes?

If it doesn't cause you any pain or discomfort then I don't think it's herpes. Oral herpes usually comes with some itching, burning and or tingling symptoms when a break out occurs. It could have been just a cut or from having chapped lips.
