So i have herpes. the doctor is giving me meds to make it not show..its oral...?
you will have them regardless but the medicine is to stop it from spreading into other thingsThe medication you're taking also helps to reduce your chances of passing it to another partner if you take it regularly. It doesn't mean you won't be able to pass it on but you will have less risk of passing it if you take the medication regularly and avoid having intercourse and receiving oral sex while you have any signs of a break out.
