Can you just get herpes without intercourse?
my friend has herpes, she told me it is in your spine, and thats where it is, i mean the infection. there is herpes on your mouth youcan get, cold sores with no sex. oral sex, anal sex, any skin contact with a person infected can get you infected.there are different types of herpes. you didn't say where you have it. if it's above the waist, you probably have the kind commonly known as "cold sores". you can treat that with OTC stuff like lipactin.
below the waist is the other kind and you would need a prescription from your doctor.
both require skin to skin contact. no you can't catch it from being in the hospital male ward.
it doesn't affect your bones that i've ever heard of.There are 8 different kinds of herpes viruses. When people say "herpes" though, most people think of either genital herpes or cold sores (oral herpes).
1. Herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV1) usually causes cold sores, but can also cause genital herpes.
2. Herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV2) usually causes genital herpes but can also cause cold sores.
3. Herpes simplex virus 3 causes the chickenpox and shingles.
Other kinds are responsible for mono (the "kissing" virus), Kaposi's sarcoma and many other illnesses.
The only kind of herpes that is spread by sex is genital herpes (either HSV1 or HSV2). Cold sores are usually spread by kissing someone with them, but they can spread to the genital area through oral sex resulting in genital herpes.
Herpes is spread a couple of ways: sex (vaginal, oral and anal), DIRECT skin to skin contact with the infected area, and child birth (VERY rare).
It doesn't affect your bones, but it can make you feel really sore and stiff. One of the major symptoms of herpes are "flu like" symptoms.

ReplyDeleteMy case was as worst as never can explain. I was bitten in pains and was speachless not being able to concive my own children. I cried out every night and sex became very frustrating and all the medical reports shows I was barren. This was a bad experience in my marital life and my husband family where worried of my inabilities to concive. I'm David Mark. I had this feelings that they could be a cure to all this deathly and common Diseases. My case was admitted after a ran for my reqular monthly checkup and was shocked when I was tested Herpes Simplex Virus.
