No they don't work. If they did don't you think every store in your town would carry them to make a profit off of them?Go to this site here and read the information about the current state of treatments and preventative mesures out there that do work:

L-Lysine is more of a preventative measure and helps some, but not others and it is available everywhere vitamins and supplements are sold. obviously, the most effective treatments are the prescription drugs.
